Spot Details
Located in front of Bleackbeard's Seafood Restaurant. Sand bar offers excellent spot for training with shallow water for body dragging.
The area from the stairs at Blackbeards up to the Jekyll Island Club Pavillion (1/4 mi.) remains clear enough to buggy even when beach is otherwise crowded.
Local kite boarders ask that all visitors use this spot since it is safest for the public and easy to fly from.
